Your picture of Rainbow Dash's cutie mark is truly awesome! I used it in this link: askdoctorbristle.tumblr.com/po…. It was used for when my character, Doctor Bristle, was trying not to laugh when Pinkamena Diane Pie told him that she was shipping herself with Rainbow Dash in her mind.
How did you do it where there was no background to this that there was just the mark but nothing around it? I'm asking because I'm working on a T-shirt print design and each time I upload it I get the square box of the image canvas.
Is it a black box? Because it shows black around it because it is a jpeg, which doesn't like clear backgrounds. Hit the download button on the side of the page, the right click the image that pops up and save it.
oh really... "offical" - where I never saw it mentioned anywhere on this page. plus, offical by design, not the actual raw file. Looks like the one from double rainboom puppets/that flash with all the mlp resources tbh but whatever
also if you didn't even make it and if it was actually their flash symbol and just sharing it out, isn't that kinda a no-no?
Oops! Must be on a different vector. I don't do cutie marks, I just uploaded a few a long time ago for other peoples convenience and forgot about them.
I never took credit for it, it is a PNG export of a DHX flash symbol. (Assuming you don't follow me, let me just explain that I'm a musician/voice actor working in Vancouver, and I have connections.) But that point is moot, because even if I did trace it, the mark is still Hasbro's intellectual property. So by that logic, isn't drawing any pony from the show a "no-no"?
BTW, those Wonderbolt Academy .flv turnaround leaks came long after this was uploaded. I suggest checking the release dates on stuff like this before making assumptions or raising a stink. This fandom is very closely involved with the show staff, but Hasbro is breathing down both of our necks, and we shouldn't start an investigation every time the writers/animators/va's try to do something subtly for the fans. That's the best way to ruin it all.
TL;DR: If you want the fandom to stay connected with the show, don't pull a 4chan. (Not to be rude, just a friendly suggestion for future conflicts. )
Pulling a 4chan? too bad I don't even go there. I only found out from deviantartists posting about it. I thought hasbro would have been really mad at DHX about those whoopsies, but oh well, okay. It's not like it matters -that- much anyway
