Ok, more like $10,000 but close enough...
I am finally getting away from my loud roommate in the Barracks, and moving into my apartment tomorrow!
Here in Japan, you have to make your security deposit and first months rent in cold, hard cash. This particular down-payment is ¥709,500! (About ten grand.) I had to withdraw that in USD from my checking account at Navy fed, then change it into Yen at the Bank of Yokohama. I had about twenty minutes to kill before the bank of Yokohama closed... Only one thing I could do!
I arranged the money ou- OH MY GOSH WHAT THE HECK IS MY ROOMMATE LISTENING TO OVER THERE?! MACHINE GUN FIRE?! DANG! JUST WHEN I THINK HE CAN'T GET ANY LOUDER!! AAAAH!!!!...-t on a blanket on the floor and took a few pictures before running over to the bank and yenning it in the nick of time! Thanks Rainbow Dash!!
Update: Needless to say, I have been having trouble finding good moments to record the vocals to my new song, as my retar... special roommate likes so get his nuclear note fix...
