Malaysian Monkeys

Hey everyone! Dang! I miss being on here! It has been so long! Right now I am in the Philippines and finally have a good connection and a little bit of time! Anyway, this picture was taken in Malaysia by my friend Zach Conway. He and I went into the jungle along what looked like a dry riverbed to explore. we where about two miles in when we saw a group of Macaque monkeys foraging along the forest floor and among the tree tops for food. I began throwing peanuts at them, and we where suddenly surrounded! After a while though, they got pretty comfortable with us! I even got one of them to climb on me!

I also have a pretty crazy story! I was doing a show in Taiwan and I met a girl there who was very pretty! During one of our songs, (Amazing by Bruno Mars) I went out into the audience and sang a portion of it to her. After the show, she gave me her email address and number in case I wanted to hang out later. Unfortunately we where heading to Taipei the next day and to the Philippines the day after that, so I knew I would probably never follow up on any of it...

When I got back to my room that night, I had a message on DA. It was from someone who has been watching my pony art on DA for some time. They said that they enjoyed my work, and that they thought I would be interested to know that they just saw a Navy band in Taiwan where the lead singer sang to them!... Yep... It was her!!
